Hi, I’m Mikinna.
A Des Moines based photographer who specializes in event coverage and sports photography.
I got my start in 2009 thanks to a College for Kids film photography class and I haven't put my camera down since.
Following my graduation from Iowa State in May of 2019 (Go Clones) I spent a few years moving around the country to work for organizations including the Chicago Blackhawks, Tilton Boarding School and the Houston Texans before making my way back home to Des Moines.
Today, I focus on providing my clients images that capture the emotion, atmosphere and pivotal moments that make their event unique. Be it a gala, basketball game, concert or family get together there is always a story to be told.
